Episode 337 – Happy Glasses

This Week: Kevin jumps in by igniting the holiday spirit in the Magical Studio in the Sky. No, not Christmas, but Halloween, which means horror movies abound for the month. Kristin and he answer a listener voice mail about Breaking Bad (even though neither watches the show), then they move on to the big movie news and raise their glasses to the recently deceased Tom Clancy. Then it’s on to the movie reviews, which includes Gravity, Runner Runner and Dario Argento’s Bat-shit Crazy Dracula. Finally, they give some box office predictions and talk about the new movies available on disc. Boo!

Kevin wishes her a happy birthday, but even in her sleep-deprived state, Kristin notices that he got his box office assignments mixed up. Sadly, this results in Kevin not being able to perform his legendary victory pole dance, but he consoles himself by telling everyone about a fascinating dream he had. Things move into the movies for the week, including a poopy story about The Smurfs 2 and a minor disagreement about 2 Guns. Kevin offers a quick science lesson before reviewing Europa Report, and they discuss several news items with topics including Kickstarter, Harvey Weinstein, Spike Lee and the holiday family classic Oldboy.
