This Week: Kevin and Kristin celebrate being able to see the movies they needed to this week, even if it meant lengthy road trips and shaky internet connections. They offer a mea culpa to their audience, apologizing for such terrible box office predictions. However, along with talking about Stand-Up Guys, Bullet to the Head and Warm Bodies, they also weigh in about Peter Farrelly’s Twitter fit, the potential for greatness in Man of Steel, Steven Soderbergh’s egress from filmmaking (again!) and Kevin’s love for boobs. Yes, boobs are back in the conversation! Then, they talk a bit about DVDs and Blu-rays before sending the audience along their merry way. Boobs!
OSNAP: Not a Porn Star
Kevin and Merrill kick off this week’s podcast with an in-depth discussion of J.J. Abrams and whether he’s the right fit for the new Star Wars movie. Then they move on to more random discussion, including what’s ailing Merrill’s dog and how a string of bad decisions led him to become drunk for the first time in his life. Discussion continues about the dangers of integration (regarding technology, not races, you sensitive idiots) and how it’s all a generational thing. Eventually, the talk leads to pornography and why Kevin thinks adult film actresses should be protected by teachers’ unions. Oh, snap!
Mission Objective: In a meeting of rogue minds, Hunter and Perri both join Merrill in the underground lair known as the Magical Studio In The Sky to talk more Nikita.
In this very special very special episode: Da7e Gonzales flies into the magical studio in the sky for one last go around with Merrill as they talk the insanity that was American Horror Story: Asylum.
