I’m usually somewhat articulate but In this case I’ll make an exception.
It’s well documented history. Granted the science was better in Fat Man and Little Boy, however it’s the so called trial against to get his clearance cancelled that and his personal demons that was the focus.
You just wanted a war flick with explosions most likely, sorry Millennial boy. Grow up.
U can tell ur not a critic, I’ve never seen ever seen a more ignorant response from a so called critic in my life, u you lack a sincere understanding of a film reflective meaning, commenting about a theme not being brought forward in enough detail, would you prefer a Physics lecture, what a dork Ahahhaha hard listen from u big dog
Just walked out of Oppenheimer in 70 mm at Portland Oregon’s historic Hollywood theater. The movie being driven by the fast pace action, constant cross cutting, and no real characters to speak of made very little room for a crowd to react to. This was really evident during the few moments of comic relief with only to have a handful of people in a sold-out crowd make a quick chuckle before being swept away by the next self-important scene. It was after the point that Oppenheimer was dealing with the psychological fallout of dropping the bomb on the Japanese that I realized that I could be doing better things with my life… like drinking beer and eating pizza. So I did, while watching office space!
Of course, everyone else is wrong. When people say something is overrated what they really mean is their opinion matters more than everyone elses combined. Chris Nolan isn’t the only one who thinks they’re smarter than they actually are, it seems.

Of all the honest reviews on that particular movie (Oppenheimer) yours list of it’s shortcomings ( and of Nolan in general) is the most exhaustive one. Felt relieved while hearing it, there is still truth out there and also people who can and will reach for it and share it 🙂 who refuse being duped by share volume and shenanigans applied.
