Vampire-Hunter Kit from ‘Fright Night’

Apparently the good folks at Touchstone Pictures and DreamWorks think I might be living next door to a vampire. That’s why they hooked me up with some nifty vampire-hunting items. Fans of both the original Fright Night and its remake that hits theaters today will recognize some useful items here.

So here’s a bunch of items from the kit that can be used for vampire hunting. Notice the wooden stakes and the garlic. There’s also some apples and beer because that’s what Jerry Dandridge snacks on in the new film.

The kit came with a nice flask, dubbed “Holy Water.” I might fill it with holy water… I might fill it with Captain Morgan’s spiced rum. Only time will tell.

Finally, even though it’s not used in the new film, this mirror was a key plot point in the original movie. It’s my personal pick for one of the cooler items in this kit.

Fright Night opens nationwide on August 19.
