The 10 Best Films of 2016

Posted on December 30, 2016

BY KEVIN CARR

Calendar year 2016 has gotten a real bad rap this year. And many of it deservedly so. TOP PICK

Zootopia
Rated PG
Studio: Disney
Formats available: 3D BD, BD, DVD, VOD
This charming Disney animated film finds a rabbit becoming a police officer in the integrated city of Zootopia. It works as a great little kids’ movie, but it also has a nice detective story along with it as well. Special features include a slate of family-friendly behind-the-scenes information, including “Zoology: The Rountables,” “The Origin of an Animal Tale,” “Research: A True-Life Adventure,” “Z.P.D. Forensic Files,” “Scoretopia,” plus deleted scenes, deleted characters and Shakira’s “Try Everything” music video.
