This Week: Kevin heads back to the editorial board of Film School Rejects to bring resident rage-meister Robert Fure into the Magical Studio in the Sky. They talk about the merits of skinny Jonah Hill in 21 Jump Street as well as what the holy hell is happening in Casa De Mi Padre. They also wax poetic about the new Doritos Tacos Locos from Taco Bell and give an in-depth analysis of the misconceptions surrounding John Carter. Oh, and there’s some advice on which porn stars to follow on Twitter. Finally, it’s back on the radio for the DVD Round-up, with a brand spankin’ new Skywalker Sound whip effect. Yee-haw!

Together, they bemoan the inaccurate name of Screen Gems when they reflect upon not getting a screening of Priest. Then they disagree about films like Bridesmaids and Everything Must Go, with a nod to Hesher. They also answer a listener voicemail from the elusive Steve-Gabe before swerving into a discussion about whether Joss Whedon can handle The Avengers. Finally, they lay down a Fat Guy Five about ass-kicking religious figures in films before handing out some DVD recommendations.

On This Week’s Show: Neil Miller shows up in the Magical Studio in the Sky to lay down the gauntlet to Kevin Carr. After seeing movies almost exclusively at film festivals two or three times a year, Neil declares himself worthy because he’s seen two movies in limited release, compared to Kevin seeing two major releases for the week. Not surprisingly, neither one has seen the new Tyler Perry film, thanks to Lionsgate’s “we don’t screen our movies” policy. But the competent movie discussion soon deteriorates as Neil makes a Taxicab Confession about Star Wars in the infamous middle segment whilst laying down one of the best Fat Guy Fives in months.
