This Week: As Kevin looks ahead to the end of summer and sending his kids back to school, he invites mild-mannered history teacher Trevor Schoenfeld (who, on his off-hours, turns into Schofizzy the movie blogger) into the Magical Studio in the Sky. They chat about the number of new films coming out this week, including ParaNorman, Sparkle, The Expendables 2 and The Odd Life of Timothy Green. They also spend part of the first segment singing the praises of Twitter while they spend a chunk of the middle segment singing the praises of stop-motion animation. After laying down a Fat Guy Five about stop-motion animation, they lay down some classic DVD and Blu-ray picks before packing their bags and heading off to school.

In this very special episode: The Idiots have only a few stories from the past two weeks to talk about, but they fill up the opening segment with a hate-filled Facebook post accusing them of insensitivity to Whitney Houston. Then they answer a more relevant question about J.J. Abrams from a listener. But this doesn’t happen without lots of penis jokes, of course. As they move on to talk about TV news and reviews, things simmer down a bit.
