Episode 95 – Faatu Barada Nikto

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil are overwhelmed with the impending awards season, feverishly trying to watch all the films at press screenings and on studio-provided DVDs. They know this makes you jealous, but such is the life of illustrious film critics. Kevin declares that the role of Klaatu is perfect for Keanu. Neil refuses to see the family holiday dysfunction film of the week. No one even cares about Delgo and Neil only made it half-way through Slumdog Millionaire. They also weigh in on the recent Golden Globe nominations and declare it officially awesome that Tropic Thunder and In Bruges received a couple nods.

Episode 92 – Team Fat Guys

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil swoon over the CGI Disney dog and show their fangs about a certain high school vampire. They also talk about their favorite vampire movies and run down their Fat Guy Five to discuss which fake movie-within-a-movie they’d like to see the most. Neil gives some love to the new Star Trek footage while Kevin proceeds to offend him with some smarmy suggestions about the forbidden love of Bella and Edward.

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil brace themselves for an onslaught of films, from the big studio releases to some independent ones. Neil hates on the Clone Wars while Kevin hates on Henry Poole. Controversy is all over the place as Kevin calls for a boycott of Tropic Thunder due to insensitivity to fat people while Neil takes some shots at Tim Shriver. Nothing is sacred, and everyone should be offended at this week’s Fat Guys at the Movies.
