Episode 497 – The Big, Fat Halloween Special 2016

This Week: Kevin gets out the crazy clown make-up and plans to scare oodles of children this weekend as he warms up to the Halloween festivities. He starts off with some movie news as well as sounding off about the Walking Dead hubbub. Then, after the trailer park, he reviews The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again, Inferno, Gimme Danger and Certain Women. Later in the show, he offers a Fat Guy Five about his favorite movies to watch on Halloween. It’s a big, fat, scary time in the Magical Studio in the Sky. Boo!

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 53

In this very special episode: Even though there has been plenty happening in on television, the Idiots slow down a bit and realize there hasn’t been a ton of interesting things happening, aside from Merrill catching the superflu and fighting back coughing fits sparked by Kevin’s awesomeness. That doesn’t stop them from ranting about crazy teens and the Project X effect, St. Patty’s Day and oral sex. They also go through a nice slice of television news before moving on to actual reviews of shows. Then it’s a Sound-Off frenzy as they throw down three topics before offering some DVD options and recommendations.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 52

Then they answer a more relevant question about J.J. Abrams from a listener. But this doesn’t happen without lots of penis jokes, of course. As they move on to talk about TV news and reviews, things simmer down a bit. Finally, they close out with Kevin’s rant about the obsolescence of broadcast news and Merrill laying down some love for Tom Selleck’s ‘stache.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 51

In this very special episode: The Idiot Boxers are back for a fun-filled episode of cynicism, swearing and really offensive rants about celebrity worship and the death of Whitney Houston (and they apologize in advance for what is said in the show). They also talk about the latest TV news and get down with some reviews, including a scathing analysis of Kevin Smith’s Comic Book Men. But since Merrill had such a great week, there’s few things Kevin can say to bring him down. Poor kid. Later, they sound-off about Netflix viewership, then offer some DVD suggestions and Idiot Recommendation. It’s been a long couple weeks between episodes, but the Idiots make sure to not disappoint with their unique analysis of the idiocy happening in the world of entertainment.
