In this very special episode: Apparently Mother Nature is not a fan of The Idiot Boxers because she sent Hurricane Irene up the east coast to knock out Merrill’s power for an entire week. Mere hours after power was restored, the Idiots were back online and talking about TV… well, after a half hour of recounting Hurricane Irene stories flavored with the spicy, hot bitterness of Starbucks. Then, Kevin chimed in with a grand story of an $11,500 burrito. Eventually, the Idiots moved on to what sucked and what rocked, along with TV news and a couple sound-offs, which includes a scathing review of Hulu+.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 38

In this very special episode: Kevin begins the show in his fall-back position… he snacks loudly while Merrill tries to talk about television. The sugar wafers call him throughout the episode, and he becomes more and more hungry in spite of snacking. The Idiots talk about what rocked on television and when certain shows are in danger of jumping the shark. Then they break down a list of TV news, including some juicy coverage of renewal and cancellation tidbits. Then, it’s on to what sucked before sounding off about new ratings and reality TV. Finally, the show wraps up with DVDs and a barbaric recommendation.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 34

In this very special episode: Even though the early weeks of summer have left the Idiots with fewer options to watch, they have plenty to talk about in this episode. After some early shenanigans which include Amanda Seyfreid’s breasts and Merrill’s escort ads on Craigslist, the Idiots get down with their reviews of the current shows, including a look at the new TNT drama Falling Skies. Of course, things soon deteriorate in the episode as Kevin tells Walt Flanigan and a pot-smoking, chubby filmmaker what they can do with themselves. Later, Merrill actually complains about Flashpoint, and Kevin takes aim at fraudulant criminals in Extreme Couponing.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 31

In this very special episode: The Idiots celebrate Mother’s Day by talking about television, even though Kevin doesn’t seem too excited about the whole thing. Merrill makes up for it with passion about everything from the return of Flashpoint to Percy the bad guy on Nikita. Sadly, Kevin can barely muster enough excitement for more Doctor Who and the return of South Park goodness. After rattling off a nice array of TV news, the Idiots chat about some DVDs and lay down some rather bizarre recommendations.
