The Idiot Boxers – Episode 18

In this very special episode: You know how last episode was supposed to be the most offensive episode yet? Well, you haven’t heard this episode. Be the judge afterwards. The Idiots get off to a slow start, but soon fatigue and irritation at political correctness cause Kevin to start swearing and daring to say evern worse words. (Again… sorry, Dawn from California.) After the basic discussion of what rocked and what sucked, Merrill’s ass falls off his body, and he smacks his head into the desk. They also sound off about South Park and election advertising before the Idiot Recommendations, which may or may not include a variety show version of the SuperFriends.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 17

In this very special episode: The Idiot Boxers return with what could be their most offensive episode yet. They may be talking about shows under broadcast standards but they’re definitely using some HBO language. (Well, Merrill uses the HBO language while Kevin just conjures up some extremely disturbing imagery… sorry Dawn from California.) They talk about the shows that rocked and the shows that sucked, plus a copious amount of TV news. Then they sound off about things like The Incredible Hulk and CBS’s streaming policy. Finally, they exhaustively round things out with TV-on-DVD picks and Idiot Recommendations.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 12

In this very special episode: There have been major changes to The Idiot Boxers podcast. The review segments have been shifted around, focusing more on what the Idiots thought rocked and what they thought sucked. This (and an alleged kidnapping of Merrill and Kevin) led to a summer hiatus for the past month, but the Idiots are back on the couch, ready to talk TV. And yes, surprise surprise, Merrill is going to talk about Flashpoint this week. They also cover such diverse subjects as college evangelists, masturbation, Asian subtitles and what Kevin wants to do to Piper Perabo’s caboose.

Flying away on a wing and a prayer, who could it be?… Kevin pays homage to teh greatest TV theme song ever while Merrill launches hatred for anything 70s and 80s. But first, the Idiots talk about the latest episode of television, what time slot is most likely to kill a series and hate on the big screen adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And Merrill declares that he will watch an entire season of Grey’s Anatomy. What a trooper.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 9

In this very special episode: It’s a time of rejoicing and a time to be carefree. The Idiot Boxers get their first review on iTunes, and Merrill lofts his challenge to Fat Guys at the Movies co-host Neil Miller for a Michael Bay challenge. Without any thought of time constraints, the Idiots ramble on for damn near two hours in this show, but it’s worth it. We get to see Merrill completely lose it in the middle after Kevin suggests some awkward positions. Oh, and they also talk about current television, give some Idiot Recommendations and talk about everything from Jon Stewart’s politics to crappy daytime judge shows. Listen to this one, folks.
