Episode 275 – So Outside My Comfort Zone

This Week: Kevin is upset about many things in this world, and he wants to change them. He comes to the conclusion that the only way to do this is through the dance and protest art. Unfortunately, Kevin can’t dance worth a damn. So he invites Gleekast co-host Emily Intravia into the Magical Studio in the Sky to talk about dance and protest art with the new dance flick Step Up Revolution. They also talk about alien invasions and movies about writers with The Watch and Ruby Sparks. They also talk some more about The Dark Knight Rises, Taylor Kitsch’s flailing career and some DVD recommendations. When it comes to the reviews, they really step up. (You see what I did there?)

Episode 274 – I’d Still Sleep with You But I Just Don’t Respect You

This Week: As Kevin girds his loins for the much-anticipated release of The Dark Knight Rises, he invites fellow Film School Reject Brian Salisbury to join him in the Magical Studio in the Sky to talk about the latest Batman installment. They also throw down about various fanboy battles, including where they stand on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, M. Night Shyamalan’s career and James Bond theme songs. After dissecting The Dark Knight Rises in a very spoiler-free way (though there might be an Inception spoiler or two in there) before answering a listener email and laying out the Fat Guy Five about overhyped films. Then it’s on to the last segment, where they recommend some DVDs and fly off into the night using their Batarangs.

Fat Guy 5: Five Hilarious Movie Deaths

After all, there are plenty of lists out there about best superhero movies, superheroes who can kick ass and why Kick-Ass is the most awesomest fanboy film since Watchmen. Instead, the Fat Guys have broken with the status quo and are delivering a Fat Guy 5 inspired by Death at a Funeral.

Episode 74 – The Fat Knight

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil whip themselves up into a frenzy about how ridiculously awesome The Dark Knight is. Neil also throws some love to ABBA with his review of Mamma Mia! while Kevin takes an opportunity to insult Meryl Streep. The Fat Guys also try out some new specialty segments, including a preview of Comic-Con and a list of Hollywood stories that make their heads spin. Oh, and they do manage to mention Peter Dinklage as well this week.
