The Idiot Boxers – Episode 48

In this very special episode: The Idiots ring in the new year by pushing through the January slump. They share their holiday stories – from Merrill’s very traditional Jewish-Japanese sushi sandwich to Kevin’s undying love for roast pork and sour kraut. Kevin gets called out on his RottenTomatoes reviews while Merrill reports on his anthropological studies of Long Island high school girls coordinating the pumping of overpriced gas. Later, the Idiots talk TV news (which seems heavily weighted towards An American Horror Story) and later chat about what they watched. Then it’s on to DVD suggestions and Idiot Recommendations before signing off for another two weeks.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 45

In this very special episode: It’s November sweeps, and the Idiots are damn tired of watching television. Merrill overdosed on pretty much every program he follows while Kevin mistakenly swept all the rooms in his house. The Idiots chat about disasters in The Cheesecake Factory and the new Twilight movie. Then they launch into plenty of TV news before running down the shows. After a meaty segment about the good shows on TV, they head into the Sound-Off segment and the DVD recommendations. Then they quickly race out of the Magical Studio in the Sky so they can get ready for Turkey Day coming up this week.

In this very special episode: Now that Halloween is over, the Idiots take some time to complain about the problems they had with the holiday. Kevin then talks about how he’s approaching award season, then complains about an idiot woman in his Tower Heist screening and reads a flame about his Tree of Life review. Then Merrill talks a bit about his plumbing failure. Finally the Idiots listen to a weird voice mail before talking about television news and reviews. Finally, they sound off about some trends, give DVD suggestions and rattle off an Idiot Recommendation. Oh, and plenty of terrorist rape!

Then it’s on to news about TV before launching into a look at what they’ve been watching. Kevin bemoans horror-themed television programs while Merrill continues to jizz all over Flashpoint.
