This Week: Kevin starts things off with some movie news, then launches into some stuffy trailers for Downton Abbey and The Goldfinch. Later, he reviews the new films Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Rocketman and Ma. He also takes a look at Hulu’s new miniseries Catch-22 and a retro review of Colossus: The Forbin Project. After some box office, Kevin wraps things up with the Home-Cinema Round-Up, featuring Greta.

Episode 380 – Two Chewbaccas!

Posted on August 1, 2014

This Week: Kevin takes aim at a couple things in this episode, namely backwards-minded studios who still think that reviewers only have an audience in the city where they live. But before his rants about that, he talks about some news and moves into the reviews of Guardians of the Galaxy, Get on Up, I Origins, Life Itself and the ambitious but disappointing Boyhood. Kevin also ponders whether dumb action movies with women are still okay for feminism and what you can pick up on DVD and Blu-ray this week.
