This Week: The summer is almost over, so the last days of summer movies are upon us. Kevin invited Michelle McCue into the Magical Studio in the Sky to talk about the new movies of the week, including The Campaign, The Bourne Legacy and Hope Springs. They also chat a bit about movie trends, including the rush to push everything to a 2013 release date and what Joss Whedon needs to be careful of in his quest to make Avengers 2. Then, they lay down a Fat Guy Five about celebrities they don’t want to see having sex before handing out some DVD and Blu-ray selections and going on their merry way.

Kevin also asks Ryan about his experiences at Comic-Con and how he used his vegan psychic powers to avoid getting stabbed in the eye in Hall H. They discuss the ratings system and whether PG-13 movies should warn about Santa Claus spoilers before throwing down a Fat Guy Five about good talking animal movies and handing down some DVD and Blu-ray picks.
