Episode 298 – Why Would I Want to Put on Pants?

This Week: Kevin and Kristin dust off the debris from the holidays and get back to the grind of work for the first show of 2013. They kick off the year by discussing two award films and one decidedly not-award film: Texas Chainsaw 3D, Promised Land and The Impossible. (You’ll have to guess which one isn’t up for any awards.) They also chat about Kevin’s insane projects for 2013, including his beefcake calender, as well as come up with some new Christmas traditions to start next year. Finally, they wrap things up with some DVD and Blu-ray ideas for gift-card purchases before saying good-bye for another week.

This Week: Kevin continues on his streak with international guests in the Magical Studio in the Sky. This week, he invites Ronald Nicholls from BoxOfficeBuz.com all the way from Calgary. Together, they chat about cancer, Taylor Lautner and a completely healthy obsession with Anna Faris. Ron also takes home the crown for delivering the longest middle segment ever in Fat Guys history, which is much more pleasant than being awarded the middle segment in a human centipede. Kevin and Ron chat about 50/50, Dream House and What’s Your Number? before stumbling cluelessly through the box office segment and delivering a somewhat offensive Fat Guy Five. Then it’s back to the DVDs before sending anyone still listening off into the sunset.

Kevin and Fozzie also talk about the Horror Hound Weekend in Cincinnati and lay down a Fat Guy Five about their five favorite ends to franchises. Oh, and Fozzie says “twat” in the radio segments.
