In this very special episode: The Idiots start off talking not about television, but about music videos, as Merrill tries to understand Kevin’s unnatural obsession with Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” Eventually, they get on track to talk about what rocked before moving on to an uncharacteristically cogent discussion about television news. No worries, because Merrill miraculously derails himself in the “What Sucked” segment by over-ranting about V. Eventually, the Idiots wrap things up with DVD reviews and recommendations.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 26

In this very special episode: The Idiots dance around the Magical Studio in the Sky to celebrate the first episode of Season Two, ringing in their one-year anniversary of the show. Kevin celebrates by eating a donut, while Merrill celebrates by letting Kevin derail the show at least three times in the first segment. The Idiots talk about what rocked and what sucked on television these past two weeks, go over some TV news with some detailed analysis of Charlie Sheen, then they give some Idiot Recommendations and get generally offensive.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 25

In this very special episode: Kevin is grouchy because he’s fasting for his “old dude” doctor’s appointment in the morning. Merrill is furiously making Valentine’s Day plans with a pint of cookie dough ice cream and a stack of Michael Bay DVDs. While the Idiots try to talk about what sucked and what rocked over the last couple weeks in television, Kevin works his special brand of podcast terrorism by derailing Merrill at every curve. If only Denzel Washington and Chris Pine were there to stop him. Finally, the Idiots give their DVD picks and recommendations before slinking quietly into the corner for another two weeks.

Then it’s a batch of TV-on-DVD and Idiot Recommendations before the Idiots crawl away in shame for yet another couple weeks.

In this very special episode: The Idiots start off the show by chewing the fat to cover up the fact that there really wasn’t that much to watch these past few weeks. But they manage to talk about the things that rocked and the things that sucked. In particular, they take aim at some of the modern sci-fi and superhero television shows available on the dial. The Idiots also lay down some TV news, including what’s on the bubble, why Glee can have Justin Bieber and whether the Kennedys can take down basic cable television. Finally, they end with some DVD picks, recommendations and why Merrill is infuriated by sunglasses.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 19

In this very special episode: The Idiots are facing holiday fatigue and the burdens of November Sweeps. Kevin faces the challenges by refusing to catch up on his stories, while Merrill pushes ahead and tries to watch everything on television. The first big casualty of the season is the loss of a “Sound Off”-only segment, which was absorbed into the final segment like so much turkey in Kevin’s belly. They have a smack-down over Conan, and later Merrill reveals too much about his excitement for The Golden Girls complete series package. Yikes!

The Idiots get off to a slow start, but soon fatigue and irritation at political correctness cause Kevin to start swearing and daring to say evern worse words. (Again… sorry, Dawn from California.) After the basic discussion of what rocked and what sucked, Merrill’s ass falls off his body, and he smacks his head into the desk. They also sound off about South Park and election advertising before the Idiot Recommendations, which may or may not include a variety show version of the SuperFriends.
