Episode 418 – I’m Blaming Adam Sandler!

This Week: Kevin starts off with some news, but soon launches into an epic rant about the whirlwind surrounding Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. After calming down from that, he reviews a couple movies, including The Age of Adaline, Ex Machina and Cheatin’. He also gives a preview of the not-screened-for-local-press The Water Diviner and Little Boy. Finally, he goes on another epic rant about the demise of FilmThreat.com and how that dovetails into the sad state of entertainment journalism. Finally, he cools off with some daring box office predictions and not-so-daring DVD Recommendations.

In addition, Kevin also interviews Jillian Murray for her role in Cabin Fever: Patient Zero before going through the box office and giving instructions on how to win your own copy of Enemy on DVD (see below for more info). Then, it’s on with the DVD Round-Up and time to ride off into the sunset.

This week, Merrill and Kevin continue their diatribe dialogue about auto-updating software and why newer is not always better. They also talk about the weather, which may or may not include a discussion of Merrill’s sweaty balls. Merrill also shares his misencounter with a stand-up comic in person. Merrill also complains about his infection, which may or may not be in his mucous membranes. Kevin also throws down his opinion on some controversial issues, including the ending of Man of Steel and the Paula Deen scandal. Merrill then goes on record about Reddit users not understanding what rape is. And finally, Kevin defends Movie 43, and he has the internet backing him up on it! Oh, snap!
