Kevin weaves an interesting tale about the Disney vault. Soon, they talk about the new films of the week, both Paranormal Activity 4 and Alex Cross, pointing out Tyler Perry’s failure at being anything but Madea. Kristin and Kevin talk about the movies that scared them the most, answer a listener email and then talk about the DVDs and Blu-ray to check out or avoid.

Episode 271 – You’re Not as Civilized as Us, Ladies

This Week: It’s counter-programming week at the movies, and Kevin is facing male strippers, foul-mouthed teddy bears, heartwarming movies and Madea. He turns to Ronald Nicholls from BoxOfficeBuz.com to help fend off these movies… mostly. They talk about how much more evolved men are compared to women, at least when it comes to stripper movies, and they also give an unexpectedly lengthy break-down about what Madea means to movies. In the infamous middle segment, Kevin rolls the dice on box office predictions, they chat about Pixar movies and then they lay down a Fat Guy Five about movies based on toys. Finally, it’s the DVD Rundown, where Ronald finally drops an f-bomb, and they send you off into the sunset.

Episode 211 – The Crazy Nastyass Fat Guys

While neither one has seen any of the new movies for the week, that doesn’t stop them from talking about the phenomenon of Madea and Robert Pattinson’s smell-the-fart acting. Simon also surprises us with an advanced review of Thor. Then there’s some talk of 3D televisions, Randall’s nature shows and a Fat Guy Five about most anticipated summer (and Australian winter) movies.
