Episode 379 – I Like to Have Sex in the Movies

This Week: Kevin gets set to offend the women in the audience for dissing the new trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey. For good measure, he also has a few things to say about the trailer for Dear White People just in case there aren’t enough people mad at him. But first, he explains why he doesn’t go to the San Diego Comic-Con, then talks about some news from the event. Later, he reviews the new movies Hercules, Lucy, And So It Goes and Wish I Was Here before also giving his final thoughts on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Then, he’s left with box office and the DVD Round-Up before riding off into the sunset.

Episode 328 – I Have Class

This Week: Kristin celebrates her birthday in the Magical Studio in the Sky with a special gift from her daughter: a cold. Kevin wishes her a happy birthday, but even in her sleep-deprived state, Kristin notices that he got his box office assignments mixed up. Sadly, this results in Kevin not being able to perform his legendary victory pole dance, but he consoles himself by telling everyone about a fascinating dream he had. Things move into the movies for the week, including a poopy story about The Smurfs 2 and a minor disagreement about 2 Guns. Kevin offers a quick science lesson before reviewing Europa Report, and they discuss several news items with topics including Kickstarter, Harvey Weinstein, Spike Lee and the holiday family classic Oldboy. Then we’re left with the DVD Round-Up and a ride off into the sunset.

But before they hit on the new releases, they give their take on the box office, and Kevin quickly reviews the films from the previous week that were not screened. Then it’s right into movie reviews of Stoker, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Call. Finally, Kevin confesses his show choir history, and Kristin recounts the strange kidnapping of Yoda by her Smurfs. Things then wrap up with Kevin blundering the DVD Round-Up.
