OSNAP: Mythbusters Did It
This week, Kevin and Merrill reel from the bizarre one-two punch of Twitter explosions this week, including the George Zimmerman verdict and the death of that 31-year-old kid from Glee. Kevin clarifies a legal concept about the Zimmerman case before clarifying some science behind Sharknado. Later, Kevin rages at Merrill about his sloppy sexual fascination with Mythbusters before moving into wacky news. Some topics discussed include racist Asian pilot names, penis-biting snakes, a Kentucky man who can’t keep his hands (and other body parts) off a pool floatie, and Apple’s compliance with pornography over-riding the marriage contract. Oh, snap!

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 46

In this very special episode: The Idiots are recovering from Thanksgiving and Black Friday, crawling back into the depths of the living while watching as many TV shows as they can (well, as many as Merrill can while Kevin tries to fit in as many as possible between award films). They chat about how their holiday season has been going, including why Merrill shouldn’t be allowed on the freeway and how Kevin hands out Turkey Day advice about embracing your fetishes. They roll through some scant movie news before chatting about the shows they’re watching, sound off about a few things that annoy them and give some DVD suggestions and an idiot recommendation.

In this very special episode: It’s November sweeps, and the Idiots are damn tired of watching television. Merrill overdosed on pretty much every program he follows while Kevin mistakenly swept all the rooms in his house. The Idiots chat about disasters in The Cheesecake Factory and the new Twilight movie. Then they launch into plenty of TV news before running down the shows. After a meaty segment about the good shows on TV, they head into the Sound-Off segment and the DVD recommendations. Then they quickly race out of the Magical Studio in the Sky so they can get ready for Turkey Day coming up this week.

(See… someone paid to see it this past week.) They ramble through a variety of topics, including gambling in Vegas, British accents and the great 80s conflict of Star Wars versus The SuperFriends. They also manage to talk about all the new movies this week, lay down a Fat Guy Five about great vampire hunters and suggest some awesome (and not-so-awesome) DVDs and Blu-rays.

Then in the middle segment, they go full Cage and discuss box office, apes and favorite heist movies.

In this very special episode: Even though the early weeks of summer have left the Idiots with fewer options to watch, they have plenty to talk about in this episode. After some early shenanigans which include Amanda Seyfreid’s breasts and Merrill’s escort ads on Craigslist, the Idiots get down with their reviews of the current shows, including a look at the new TNT drama Falling Skies. Of course, things soon deteriorate in the episode as Kevin tells Walt Flanigan and a pot-smoking, chubby filmmaker what they can do with themselves. Later, Merrill actually complains about Flashpoint, and Kevin takes aim at fraudulant criminals in Extreme Couponing.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 28

In this very special episode: The Idiots start off talking not about television, but about music videos, as Merrill tries to understand Kevin’s unnatural obsession with Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” Eventually, they get on track to talk about what rocked before moving on to an uncharacteristically cogent discussion about television news. No worries, because Merrill miraculously derails himself in the “What Sucked” segment by over-ranting about V. Eventually, the Idiots wrap things up with DVD reviews and recommendations.
