The Idiot Boxers – Episode 15

In this very special episode: Hey, hey! It’s premiere week at the Magical Studio in the Sky, and the Idiot Boxers have been furiously at work catching up on all the new television shows. They crank out the longest first segment in the history of the show, which we will refer to as $#i! That Merrill Likes. Have no fear, they drop the infamous Sound Off segment to keep things brief and also get into a couple fights about new shows and old. Oh, and a surprising amount of love for the CW shows this week. Go figure.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 14

In this very special episode: The Idiot Boxers continue their streak of irritating each other. Merrill desperately attempts to be professional, but Kevin’s plans to derail the show prevail. Yet they manage to get through all their TV watching with minimal talk of Flashpoint and a healthy dose of TV news in which Kevin gets in touch with his feminine side. Kevin also manages to rip on Michael Bay while Merrill tries to educate the listeners to the finer points of product placement.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 12

In this very special episode: There have been major changes to The Idiot Boxers podcast. The review segments have been shifted around, focusing more on what the Idiots thought rocked and what they thought sucked. This (and an alleged kidnapping of Merrill and Kevin) led to a summer hiatus for the past month, but the Idiots are back on the couch, ready to talk TV. And yes, surprise surprise, Merrill is going to talk about Flashpoint this week. They also cover such diverse subjects as college evangelists, masturbation, Asian subtitles and what Kevin wants to do to Piper Perabo’s caboose.

But first, the Idiots talk about the latest episode of television, what time slot is most likely to kill a series and hate on the big screen adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And Merrill declares that he will watch an entire season of Grey’s Anatomy. What a trooper.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 9

In this very special episode: It’s a time of rejoicing and a time to be carefree. The Idiot Boxers get their first review on iTunes, and Merrill lofts his challenge to Fat Guys at the Movies co-host Neil Miller for a Michael Bay challenge. Without any thought of time constraints, the Idiots ramble on for damn near two hours in this show, but it’s worth it. We get to see Merrill completely lose it in the middle after Kevin suggests some awkward positions. Oh, and they also talk about current television, give some Idiot Recommendations and talk about everything from Jon Stewart’s politics to crappy daytime judge shows. Listen to this one, folks. Kevin exposes the debauchery of Merrill’s Formspring.me account while Merrill learns a valuable lesson about UV radiation. They look at some of the big TV news before Merrill gets too intimate with the cast of Flashpoint. Out of utter embarrassment, Kevin insists they move on to the Sound Off segment to talk about the evolution of summer and how Comedy Central is being a giant douche before laying down some TV-on-DVD picks and handing out some Idiot Recommendations.
