Episode 362 – Colossal Moronic Stupidity of Gwyneth Paltrow

Posted on March 28, 2014

fatguysatthemovies2_banner

This Week: Kevin finds God again by watching Noah and wonders how the film can be so alarmingly different than what the Good Book says. He also takes a look at the brutal violence of Sabotage as well as the Twilight Zone nature of Enemy and the acerbic feel of Bad Words. Kevin also pays respects to actor James Rebhorn and shames Gwyneth Paltrow for yet another idiotic comment on something she knows nothing about. Kevin also previews four new trailers before analyzing the possibly not-good box office of Divergent and offering suggestions for your home viewing pleasure.

fatguysatthemovies_banner

On This Week’s Show: This week, Neil Miller has overdosed on turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie, a self-destructive behavior that landed him directly into Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Kevin wishes Neil a speedy recovery and has invited FSR box office guru and co-host of The Golden Briefcase, Jeremy Kirk, into the Magical Studio in the Sky. They talk about the new wide releases that no one has seen and the limited releases that apparently everyone has. From insane ballerinas to kung fu cowboys, Kevin and Jeremy try to do Neil justice by talking about a bunch of movies they haven’t seen… and saying a lot of creepy things about Natalie Portman.

Episode 96 – The Tale of Seven Hundred Pound Fat Men

Posted on December 18, 2008

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil wind down through a massive month of movies, commenting on everything from characters’ heart conditions to tattooed strippers past their prime (but still fun to watch). Kevin laughs at Neil, who has offended one of their biggest fans… twice. They take some swipes at Will Smith, try to figure out the connection between big-eared mice and soup, and they welcome Jim Carrey back from the brink of The Number 23. Kevin bemoans the fact that he contributed a significant sum to the weekend box office of Delgo, and Neil defends his ambiguously gay DVD picks of the week.

Films Reviewed this Week: Seven Pounds, The Tale of Despereaux, Yes Man and The Wrestler.
