In this very special episode: The Idiots celebrate Mother’s Day by talking about television, even though Kevin doesn’t seem too excited about the whole thing. Merrill makes up for it with passion about everything from the return of Flashpoint to Percy the bad guy on Nikita. Sadly, Kevin can barely muster enough excitement for more Doctor Who and the return of South Park goodness. After rattling off a nice array of TV news, the Idiots chat about some DVDs and lay down some rather bizarre recommendations.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 24

In this very special episode: Just because Kevin is recovering from a bad case of strep throat doesn’t mean he can’t be an Idiot. Together with Merrill, they talk about all things orange, bacterial infections, what constitutes pornography on television and all there was that sucked and rocked on the boob tube these past few weeks. Merrill sounds off about awkward TV theme song transitions, and Kevin looks back a the UK version of The Office. Then it’s a batch of TV-on-DVD and Idiot Recommendations before the Idiots crawl away in shame for yet another couple weeks.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 21

In this very special episode: The world sheds a collective tear of sadness as we wrap up 2010 with the last episode of The Idiot Boxers until 2011 (which is just two weeks away, so it’s really not worth crying over). Kevin and Merrill run down some of the end-of-the-year finales and give their approval of various shows. Kevin tries to derail the show by hitting on Merrill’s cousin by proxy and describe creative uses of cream cheese. Merrill tries to keep things on task, but soon buckles to exhaustion. Then they talk about some TV news and hand out some family-friendly recommendations (which ends a rather family-unfriendly show). Sorry, Dawn from California.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 17

In this very special episode: The Idiot Boxers return with what could be their most offensive episode yet. They may be talking about shows under broadcast standards but they’re definitely using some HBO language. (Well, Merrill uses the HBO language while Kevin just conjures up some extremely disturbing imagery… sorry Dawn from California.) They talk about the shows that rocked and the shows that sucked, plus a copious amount of TV news. Then they sound off about things like The Incredible Hulk and CBS’s streaming policy. Finally, they exhaustively round things out with TV-on-DVD picks and Idiot Recommendations.

The Idiot Boxers – Episode 15

In this very special episode: Hey, hey! It’s premiere week at the Magical Studio in the Sky, and the Idiot Boxers have been furiously at work catching up on all the new television shows. They crank out the longest first segment in the history of the show, which we will refer to as $#i! That Merrill Likes. Have no fear, they drop the infamous Sound Off segment to keep things brief and also get into a couple fights about new shows and old. Oh, and a surprising amount of love for the CW shows this week. Go figure.
