He also previews Nine Lives because he couldn’t bring himself to pay for that movie. Later, he also talks about Life, Animated and Phantom Boy. And, the return of the Fat Guys Five, looking at the winners and losers of the summer. Of course, there’s also home cinema recommendations and some box office wet blanketness as well.

Episode 266 – A Love Letter to Love

This Week: Prepping for the big Memorial Day movie weekend, Kevin invites a real pro into the Magical Studio in the Sky: Grae Drake from the Popcorn Mafia, Fandango and Movies.com. They butt heads about Will Smith and Men in Black 3 and commiserate over not getting a screening of Chernobyl Diaries. Grae shares the reasons why Will Smith is awesome at junkets and Tommy Lee Jones is a grumpy old man. They also dissect the validity of Battleship as a big summer movie and Taylor Kitsch’s viability as a big movie star. And Grae gives her two cents about Wes Anderson’s violent children’s love story Moonrise Kingdom. Then they pimp-slap down a shiznit of a Fat Guys Five about 90s movies that deserve a sequel now. Then it’s the DVD Round-Up before they ride off into the sunset.
