This Week: Kevin kicks things off with the first dumb thing for the week: AMC Theaters new pricing model. He also gives some love to Burt Bacharach who passed away this week at age 94. Next, he looks at trailers for Fast X and History of the World: Part II. Later, he reviews some good stuff and more dumb stuff, including Magic Mike’s Last Dance, Your Place or Mine?, Consecration, She Came from the Woods and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Finally, he wraps things up with the Home-Cinema Round-Up and a look at the new Bubba Ho-Tep 4K.

Episode 330 – The Whole Enchilada

This Week: Kevin and Kristin come to the full realization that the movie doldrums of August are upon us, knowing that the studios only screened one of the four films this week. Of course, that doesn’t stop them from giving their two cents for Jobs, The Butler and Paranoia. They also have an opinion on Kick-Ass 2, which was miraculously shown to press earlier in the week. To fill time, they also talk about some news stories as well as answer a listener question, which makes Kevin squirm as he tries to talk around naughty bits for the radio. Finally, it’s DVDs and a big, fat farewell until next week.

Episode 198 – Titillating and Scintillating

This Week: The Fat Guys affirm that they are friends but prefer to get their benefits elsewhere. But that doesn’t stop Neil from gushing over Natalie Portman like a chubby fifteen-year-old at Comic-Con. Kevin pooh-poohs the movie because he didn’t get a chance to see it, and he bemoans the fact that Neil has seen more movies this week. They also talk about Peter Weir and how flabbergasted Neil is by him, plus some wah-boo-hooing about The Company Men. Finally, after some box office predictions and a voice mail, they lay down a Fat Guy Five about which Hollywood hotties they’d like to have as friends with benefits.
