On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil hook up again in the Virtual Studio in the Sky, remaining in disparate locations like a Presidential/Vice-Presidential ticket. This has allowed Neil to avoid seeing anything this week while Kevin suffered through Pride and Glory and even managed to find some love for High School Musical 3. The Fat Guys discuss Neil’s unconventional love for Zac Efron (aka “Zefron” to his fans) while Kevin rants about drunken Irish cops in Pride and Glory.

On This Week’s Show: The Magical Studio in the Sky is struck by a wayward comet, sending Kevin and Neil in different directions. But take heart, they manage to link up through the interwebs to form the Virtual Studio in the Sky. They talk about the new movies this week, how Sex Drive sizzles and W. fizzles. There’s a smack-down over Max Payne, and Kevin whines about how boring it was to watch The Secret Lives of Bees (that’s the movie in which Dakota Fannings isn’t raped).

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil welcome a bevy of guests to the Magical Studio in the Sky for a special edition of Fat Guys at the Movies. In addition to reviewing the films of the week, they are joined by competitive eating legend Crazy Legs Conti, who dishes on his experience at the Netflix movie-watching challenge. Kevin also chats with Joe Neff, the Co-Master of Scarimonies at the all-night horror movie marathon. Not much room to offend people this week, but lots of shenanigans still ensue.

A Conversation with Mary Costa of “Sleeping Beauty”
BY KEVIN CARR
This week, the Walt Disney Company is releasing the 2-disc Platinum Edition of Sleeping Beauty to commemorate the movie’s upcoming 50th anniversary. It’s also available for the first time on BluRay in a 3-disc set (which includes hi-def versions of the first two discs, along with a bonus standard DVD of the film).
Mary Costa, who provided the voice for Princess Aurora, as well as a life-action reference for the animator, saw the film this September in high definition at the El Capitan theater.
“I was absolutely enveloped in what I thought was a perfect film,” she said. “I’ve seen it through the years, and I thought Walt Disney must be smiling because he was a perfectionist, and for the first time, it was perfection.”
