This week, Merrill confides in Kevin his continual inability to ride a bike, supplying the show with plenty of bizarre superhero imagery. This leads Kevin into a deep discussion on the merits of Karl Pilkington’s Bullshit Man superhero character. Later, Kevin rages about the Dove Real Beauty Sketches video and how it actually contains a horrible message. Finally, the guys wrap things up in the final segments with wacky news, including a bizarre love story between a man and his eel, as well as whether Kevin thinks a teacher should be allowed to bite his child. Kevin agrees that is terribly confusing, and he assures Merrill he will never confuse him that way again. Kevin then reminisces on his more-than 10-year career writing about movies. In the middle segment, things take a serious turn when Kevin launches into a rant about rape culture and what he characterizes as the collision of the bystander effect and reality TV. But don’t worry because things lighten up again at the end when they skewer Justin Bieber and check out some wacky news stories, with topics that include orgasmic fried chicken and whether size really does matter.
