This Week: Kevin and Kristin check out the big releases for the 4th of July weekend (including Despicable Me 2 and The Lone Ranger), and they also give nods to smaller movies for the week (including Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain and Best Friends Forever). They also talk about how feminism relates to The Heat, as well as some news about Pixar sequels. There’s also some talk about box office winners, losers and predictions (which includes movie totals in the trillions of dollars… trillions, I tell you!). Finally, there’s some DVD and Blu-ray release. And when we say “some,” we really mean just a few.

Episode 323 – No Poop in the Sink

This Week: Kristin and Kevin prepare for the upcoming 4th of July week by chanting “U! S! A! U! S! A!” in the Magical Studio in the Sky and painting Kevin’s belly red, white and blue. But before all that happens, they look at the box office and Kevin takes another stab at a victory dance. They hit on some big news stories about Liam Neeson in Tak3n, the stupidly-named Independence Day sequel and the premium movie theater seating experiment. Later, Kevin reviews White House Down, but first Kristin goes on an rant about The Heat that lasts an entire segments. Finally, they suggest some good 4th of July movies and give scant DVD and Blu-ray recommendations.

Merrill also complains about his infection, which may or may not be in his mucous membranes. Kevin also throws down his opinion on some controversial issues, including the ending of Man of Steel and the Paula Deen scandal. Merrill then goes on record about Reddit users not understanding what rape is. And finally, Kevin defends Movie 43, and he has the internet backing him up on it! Oh, snap!
