This Week: After months of live-tweeting movies on Saturday nights together, Kevin invites Mel Valentin from eFilmCritic.com and SFStation.com into the Magical Studio in the Sky to dissect films properly. Together, they bemoan the inaccurate name of Screen Gems when they reflect upon not getting a screening of Priest. Then they disagree about films like Bridesmaids and Everything Must Go, with a nod to Hesher. They also answer a listener voicemail from the elusive Steve-Gabe before swerving into a discussion about whether Joss Whedon can handle The Avengers. Finally, they lay down a Fat Guy Five about ass-kicking religious figures in films before handing out some DVD recommendations.

In this very special episode: The Idiots celebrate Mother’s Day by talking about television, even though Kevin doesn’t seem too excited about the whole thing. Merrill makes up for it with passion about everything from the return of Flashpoint to Percy the bad guy on Nikita. Sadly, Kevin can barely muster enough excitement for more Doctor Who and the return of South Park goodness. After rattling off a nice array of TV news, the Idiots chat about some DVDs and lay down some rather bizarre recommendations.
