Episode 196 – Puppies Are Easier to Please Than Strippers

On This Week’s Show: With the coming of January, the Fat Guys face a coming of some pretty mediocre (and some downright terrible) movies. What comes with that territory is the fact that a good number of those movies aren’t screened. So even though they had a chance to see the Gwyneth Paltrow Oscar-bait flick Country Strong, there was no way to see Nicolas Cage and his mullet in Season of the Witch. So to fill the time, the Fat Guys trade stories about homeless people and explain why puppies are easier to please than strippers.

Episode 186 – The Big Fat Halloween Special

On This Week’s Show: It’s Halloween weekend, and that means the Fat Guys are more concerned about getting a big bag of candy instead of watching movies. This might account for the fact that neither of them saw Saw 3D… or maybe it was because like most of the other Saw movies, Lionsgate didn’t screen this one for press. That doesn’t stop the Fat Guys from talking about it, as well as a brief nod to the new Oscar-bait film Conviction, which Kevin did see. Neil is too tired in this episode to care either way. The show rolls on as Kevin tells how he almost got in a fight after seeing Paranormal Activity 2 before talking box office numbers and laying down a Fat Guy Five, in which he ranks the previous Saw movies.

On This Week’s Show: We are re-joined by our good friend Kristin Dreyer Kramer of NightsAndWeekends.com, who brings snacks along to keep Kevin occupied. This way, she is able to get a word in when we discuss a few of the year’s Oscar contenders. We also talk about some Oscar wannabe’s with our weekly Top Ten list: The Ten Worst Oscar Bait Movies of 2007. On top of all that, we start a rumor that Tara Reid will star opposite Christian Bale in McG’s Terminator flick and we announce another awesome caption contest! Get your pencils ready class, it’s time to take notes.
