The Fat Guys Network has gotten its sandy palms on a fresh poster for the new film Cowboys & Aliens starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford… And you have a chance to win it for yourself.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:
In 1873 Arizona, a loner named Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) awakens with no memory of his past and a mysterious shackle around his wrist. He enters the town of Absolution where he learns that he is a notorious criminal wanted by many people, including Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford), who rules the town with an iron fist. Absolution soon faces an even greater threat when alien spaceships attack the town. While his shackle holds the key to defeating the aliens, Lonergan must ally with Dolarhyde and other former enemies to make a stand against them.

Fat Guy Kevin Carr is working with Film School Rejects to get some folks into an early screening of Horrible Bosses taking place in Columbus, Ohio. There will be snacks, but there will also be a fat guy there, so time is of the essense. Head on over to Film School Rejects and tell your worst story about a horrible boss, and the best ones will win access to the screening and the VIP reception before it. Have we mentioned there will be snacks?

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:

For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers…permanently.

There’s only one problem: even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.

Jason Bateman (“Couples Retreat”), Charlie Day (“Going the Distance”) and Jason Sudeikis (“Hall Pass”) star as the three hapless workers, with Jennifer Aniston (“He’s Just Not That Into You”), Colin Farrell (“Crazy Heart”) and two-time Oscar® winner Kevin Spacey (“American Beauty,” “The Usual Suspects”), as their unbearable bosses. Oscar® winner Jamie Foxx (“Ray”) stars as the plotters’ unlikely mentor, whose street cred is priced on a sliding scale. The main cast also includes veteran actor Donald Sutherland and Julie Bowen (TV’s “Modern Family”).

The Fat Guys at the Movies have gotten their grubby little hands on a couple fresh copies of The Company Men on DVD, and they’re giving them away.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film:
In The Company Men, Bobby Walker (Affleck) is living the American Dream, until he is stunned to find himself the latest casualty of corporate downsizing. Suddenly, Bobby – along with his co-workers Phil Woodward (Chris Cooper) and Gene McClary (Tommy Lee Jones) – is forced to re-evaluate his self-worth as a husband, as a father, and as a man. For as long as he can remember, he’s given his life to his job. Now, with only the love of his wife and family, it’s time to take his life back.

Fans of “The Lord of the Rings” can now enjoy the theatrical version the triology on-the-go now that it is available on iTunes. To commemorate this, we’ve gotten our chubby little hands on a prize package of “Lord of the Rings” merchandise to giveaway. Prizes up for grabs include the original theatrical poster, a deck of “Lord of The Rings” playing cards and other “Lord of the Rings” themed items including bookmarks, a small candle, a Jade ornament from New Zealand, a choker, and a pin.
