Idiot Boxers Review: Entourage, Ep: 7.02

TV review by Merrill Barr, co-host of The Idiot Boxers
Show: Entourage
Airs: HBO, Sundays, 10:30pm
Episode: “Buzzed”
Episode synopsis: After his accident on set, Vince has a slip up in an interview while high on pain killers. Ari attempts to sell the TV rights for the NFL, Drama is still trying to find the perfect script and Turtle tries to make good with Alex.
Major developments: There weren’t many. The two big ones are that E is now Drama’s manager and one of E co-workers is starting to get a little to close to Vince. O, and Ari’s wife is jealous of a really hot employee at Ari agency.
What rocked: Like I said last week, I like watching the focus being taken away from Vince. Watching the rest of the gang come into their own is a lot of fun to watch. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t dig the episodes story line. Watching Vince completely bomb an interview is quite hysterical. I also, like the way the writers are handling Drama this season, hopefully he’ll find a new gig.
What sucked: I’m really not liking the Turtle story line. It’s obvious he’s trying to recover from losing the love of his life, but there are better ways to do it than have him fall for one of his drivers.
Final thoughts: Not a terrible episode of Entourage, felt like a set-up episode for future story lines.
What’s next: Scott starts to get much closer to Vince, much to the dislike of E.
